Hector Fernandez has been recognized as one of the top three advertising professionals in the country. His work has received over 700 awards.
Fernandez became VMLY&R Mexico’s CEO, on February 2016. One year later the Agency was named Agency of the Year, for the first time ever. And repeated the feat every year since.
Before VMLY&R, Hector was Publicis LATAM’s Creative Director. During his time there, Publicis won more awards than in their Twenty-Year history in the Region.
Prior to his role as Regional Creative Director, Fernandez was BBDO Mexico’s CCO for 15 years. He helped take the agency from number fourteen to number one, turning the agency into the most successful, most awarded company in the country, at the time
