Kay Hsu is currently the VP of Digital Creative at Clinique where she is focused on storytelling across social and digital channels for the 50 year old brand. Her passion for social media, innovation and digital experiences can be seen in her career trajectory from digital agencies to her time at Meta leading Design and Creative for Partnerships Team and as Global Director of Instagram’s Creative Shop. Prior to Clinique, Hsu has held roles at Meta, leading Design and Creative for Partnerships team which is responsible for the creative work dedicated to Gaming, Creators, Developers among other audiences and products at Meta in addition to Director of Instagram’s Creative Shop. At Instagram, Hsu focused on strategic, scaled storytelling and building a world class advertising experience on Instagram that people and creatives love. Hsu has spent more decade at agencies like Iris, Huge and LBI where she drove strategic media plans to sell everything from soda to mobile phones to shoes. Inspired by ethnography, Hsu has always been drawn to learning why people do the things they do. An award-winning advertiser with deep experience in creative, brand, communications and digital planning, Hsu's clients benefit from her passion for qualitative research and analysis. Her strategic mind has been tapped by brands like: TOMS, Sony, Diageo, Seamless.com, J&J and Nike. At LBi, she won a Jay Chiat for achievement for best new brand for the brand relaunch of Seamless.com, as well as a Webby for the Sony Xperia Creators Program, gaining industry-wide recognition. Hsu started out in market research at MKTG, has a M.A. in marketing and communications from Cal State Fullerton and lives in New York with her giant husband, Tony.
