Dr. Magdalena Płonka, born and living in Poland, an expert in education and fashion design, lecturer and entrepreneur. An active social worker in the field of environmental protection and animal rights. Author of the first book in Poland about responsible fashion: Ethics in Fashion - CSR in the Clothing Industry. The only PhD student in CSR in fashion in the country - thesis defended at the IADE Creative University in Lisbon under the guidance of Prof. Sandy Black; clothing designer (master's degree obtained at the Academy of Fine Arts), as well as a court expert in the field of costume design and design at the District Court in Warsaw. Member of the advisory group for directives for responsible business at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development in 2013-2017. Panelist at such events as the Oxford Debate of the Nienieodpowiedzialni Foundation at the Polin Museum, VOGUE Business Fashion Environment Summit, Ghent Global Fashion Conference, and Portugal Home Week. Scholarship holder of Lions Clubs International, winner of laurels for designers, including the Golden Thread and Silver Loop competitions. Listed among the 100 most influential women by Pani magazine, publicist and visiting professor at foreign and domestic universities, including MSKPU in Warsaw, of which she is the Director and founder. At the moment, she is the Dean of the new AEH Fashion Design & Sustainable Fashion Management course, and in her spare time she is preparing another book based on research conducted in an international research group dedicated to innovative solutions for responsible fashion in the EU.
