Hi! I’m Leticia Tercini, a 27 years old senior art director from the Brazilian countryside.

Since I moved to São Paulo, I’ve been working with advertising for seven years at agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, AKQA, and now, Wieden+Kennedy, making projects for clients like Free Fire, Nubank, Sprite, and Netflix and with them had my work recognized in several industry awards around the globe, including Gold Cannes Lion, Grand Clio and a few others.

Being a female creative and a lesbian woman in advertising, I've always lived on a sentimental rollercoaster, trying to empower myself about who I am and what I do. This was only possible because I was lucky enough to work with many female leaders that are my ultimate inspiration and that helped me to make that rollercoaster less frightening.

Not only I've worked with amazing people, but I also had the opportunity to make work I'm proud of, such as the Black Box project, a book aimed to improve education about black people's history in Brazil.

What I've learned since then? That good things happen when I put at least a little of myself in the work I do, either by occupying spaces, or compromising to the subjects that I believe can make advertising better and more relevant to the world. And speaking of making adverting better, it has also become my commitment to make sure that more women and more LGBTQIA+ people exist even louder in this particular space - and in every other as well.
