Daisy Ifama is a queer, Black-mixed-race filmmaker, raised in the UK.
She has completed a stream of powerful projects with the likes of Google, YouTube, Random Acts, The Guardian and the Institute of Contemporary Art. Most recently she released her short documentary, Twinkleberry, which was commissioned by Netflix.
Seven years ago Daisy co-founded online media publication gal-dem, a platform run entirely by people of colour from marginalised genders, to address inequality and misrepresentation in journalism and the creative industry.
Daisy is committed to disrupting the grey area and finding ways to bring her wide-ranging personal experiences into thought-provoking storytelling that goes beyond the screen.
