Caroline Friesen is a Toronto based, award-winning Creative Director at the independent Canadian agency Rethink. Her work has been nationally and globally recognized by Applied Arts, D&AD, Communication Arts, ADCC, Effies, Cannes Lions, and the One Show.

Throughout her career, Caroline's work has positively impacted the industry and transcended culture in various ways. In her first year at Rethink, Caroline has created space for marginalized and underrepresented Canadians within the national sport of hockey, sparked a global conversation around bisexual erasure, and ignited a positive change in the most recent book banning for students across America.

For years, Caroline has been an advocate for mental wellbeing and industry burnout by the creation of a monthly art night called Good Fun Club that became a hit with (and much-needed outlet for) industry professionals. She also continues to strive for more female leadership and growth in her colleagues by mentoring female identifying creatives at Rethink. Caroline is also a member of the program advisory committee at Humber College in Toronto to help shape the educational guide for the next generation of advertising professionals.
