I am Ane, a poet and copywriter from Barcelona. I have published two poetry books– “Cartas A Ninguna Parte” and “Retratos De Lo Invisible”, with Penguin Random House, and I run the literary IG account @cartasaningunaparte. My work talks about gender, bodies and mental health. It has been used by girls as signs at the Women’s March, it has been tattooed, and it has allowed me to give writing workshops for girls. I have learned at agencies like DDB Berlin and R/GA NYC, and worked for clients like Nike, Duolingo or RIMOWA. I now am a full-time copywriter at W+K Amsterdam, where I aspire to create work that matters while making a difference through everyday actions and conversations. I am one of the founders of the agency’s first affinity group “Creative women and non-binary folks” that is in direct contact with management, and I have leveraged my network through pro bono projects with local NGOs like Project Fearless. As a non-native writer, I know I wouldn’t be writing this if someone didn’t choose to invest in me. I just aspire to give back the mentorship and opportunities that have been given to me to as many people as I can.
