I have been privileged to work in creativity since I was seventeen, entering the world of communications in Colombia and moving to Brazil not long after. A couple of years later, important agencies like Ogilvy, DDB, Talent Marcel, Publicis and Havas became a part of my path, bringing along some of the bravest clients in the business that I’m proud of having worked with. As my career gained traction I became empowered, so I began dedicating part of my time empowering creative teams that I was working with in countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, India, United States, Spain, the UK and many others. Later on I was appointed as CCO at DDB Colombia, where I helped rebuild the agency by expanding our client roster to over 20 new clients while garnering many awards. This great opportunity led me to a bigger one as I stepped into the role of Global CCO at Laundry Service in New York where I led a global creative team working for incredible brands such as Nike, the Jordan brand, Foot Locker, Hennessy, and Belvedere, among others. During my time there I had the opportunity to help the agency win their first ever Lion (for Nike, their biggest account then). After having the chance to work in various immersive experience projects for social and 360 advertising, I moved to Los Angeles to join Snap Inc. where, as their Global Head of Creativity, I oversaw and built multicultural creative teams in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As my responsibilities grew, I helped the company reach over 290 million daily users worldwide, while launching innovative Snap products (like the Spectacles 3 and the Pixy) and their Snap Vertical Series (featuring Ryan Reynolds, Will Smith, Nikita, among other incredible artist and influencers). During this time, in collaboration with our global teams, we created innovative tech solutions for brands like Gucci, Ralph Laurent, Mercedes, Nike, and Balenciaga. We also kicked-off the first global brand campaign where we created Augmented Reality Lenses for more than 450 different media types around the world, which included transforming London’s City Hall into giant musical box, filling India’s streets with lava, and getting a giant whale to jump over the skies of Brooklyn, just a few examples to exemplify the magic of this campaign. After the great experience of working at a tech company, I was given the tremendous opportunity to join the entertainment industry as a Global VP for Marketing & Activation at Prime Video and Amazon Studios, where I currently lead an incredible team in the areas of operations, production, social, influencers, creative studio, GTM, brand, activations, synergy and partnerships. In this journey I get to partner with amazing teams to execute innovative launch campaigns for our extraordinary global films, series and shows as we elevate the Prime Video Brand and make it synonymous of entertainment.
