Queer representations of love are still regularly censored in movies, series and content across the world, sending a harmful message to the LGBTQIA+ community. For Valentine’s Day, I decided to bring some of these scenes back. This is ‘Stolen Kisses’.

My Role in This Project
This was a personal project I undertook leading up to Valentine’s Day this year. As a queer creative, it always upsets me seeing reports of queer representations of love being censored in movies and television series. Forcing me to feel like my love is something to be ashamed of and hidden away.

My role in Stolen Kisses was creating the idea, researching and choosing the clips, and engaging an editor to bring the idea to life. This is a project I hope to build on and bring to a larger audience.
