My Role in This Project
Shot on iPhone Film Techniques was a really unique and fun project to be a part of. We ideated around several film techniques that we have seen in other films, and got to work figuring out how to best achieve it that effect without all of the fancy Hollywood equipment. We got our hands dirty to test out the best way to achieve the effect, using only the iPhone and every day items found within a household. After we selected the best approach, we filmed the behind the scenes process to be able to edit together the iPhone footage of the effect mixed with the process of how to achieve it into one piece, that inspires and teaches within the @apple Instagram handle.

Project Description
Everyday, people are creating content with their iPhones. They’re making movies, films and even shorts for fun content. We wanted to help teach the iPhone community some film techniques, and we wanted to reach them where they’re looking for inspiration. We launched it as the Shot on iPhone's feed-friendly film school. Each lesson was designed to teach young iPhone filmmakers simple tricks in seconds. No didactic bullshit. No pretentious instructors. No tuition. Just fun film tricks to experiment with.
