The poster has been printed on an Original Heidelberg Cylinder press. The printing process has been split into 3 stages:
- The first step was to create the general composition inside the chase, using 9 different wood type families.
- The second step was to substitute the letters with wood blocks with the exact same dimensions; and elevate all the leads, slugs, and spacers in order to print the first layer of the poster.
- The last step was to bring down the structure and replace the wood blocks with the letters. This second layer has been printed without ink, playing with the cylinder’s pressure to create the embossing.
The poster measures 13,90 x 19,49 in. The paper is Fedrigoni Materica Gesso. The credits are set in Futura Bold 12pt lead type.
