The TDC competition, established in 1953, is the longest running, most prestigious, global typography and type design competition. Now in its 70th year, these awards are all about how letterforms are used and drawn, recognizing typographic excellence and celebrating new typeface designs in all global languages.

The d.school Yearbook is an annual publication for supporters of its Teaching & Learning program. With event and image availability limited during the pandemic, we instead commissioned photographs of empty d.school spaces. Paired with bold typography and a bright palette, the publication captures the team’s innovative methods even through uncertain times. Lush, abstract photographs introduce each of the book’s three sections, color-coded for easy navigation.” 194 pages, 8 × 8, 4-color, perfect bound.
