Description

Folk's textile patterns lean heavily on repeating shapes forming soothing, rhythmic patterns that feel familiar and homespun. Throughout the identity, the bold, geometric logotype is paired with subtle repeating patterns made up of small copy. This combination represents the founder's attention to detail: everything from the design of each pattern to the ethical production and materials is thoroughly vetted and handpicked. In addition, the intentional angles and curves in the logotype underscore the brand's humble honesty: a perfectly round counter in the letter o and a tall x-height provide an openness and welcoming quality that balances nicely with the unexpected angles in the f and k. Folk's brand confidently and authentically represents their product.
