SF Symbols 4 lets you browse over 4,000 symbols from Apple’s library of iconography. Symbols are organized into categories and can be previewed in nine weights and four rendering modes: monochrome, hierarchical, palette, and multicolor. Symbols now support Variable Color to convey strength or progress over time, enabling symbols to be more dynamic and expressive. An updated inspector with a variable color slider enables previewing across all rendering modes. Automatic rendering highlights the unique characteristics of symbols with additional depth and detail. Custom symbols can be imported and annotated using a shared layer structure across rendering modes, making annotation faster and easier. Layer annotations can be viewed and customized in the new preview area.
