With this new commemorative stamp, Canada Post pays tribute to the legendary singer Salome Bey, recognized as the first lady of the blues in Canada. To represent the flamboyant personality of this committed artist, the agency proposes a whimsical and danceable typography, inspired by her iconic albums from the 1970s. The shimmering inks are combined with the ultra-realistic illustration of the artist's portrait.
