ARTV is a French language cultural channel in Quebec. Its tagline : every day is a show.
Montreal is host to close to 20 music and arts festivals during the summer months. And although many of these festivals have street events, the best shows are indoors and sold out months in advance.
We wanted to give all those people who couldn't get tickets to the shows and people passing by the venues a chance to see what was going on inside, all thanks to ARTV.

Objective
Clarify and bring to life ARTV's positioning of BRINGING CULTURE CLOSER TO PEOPLE.

Solution
We developed a huge x-ray interactive telescope called the ARTVscope and placed it outside the sold out venues. When you pointed it anywhere at the venue wall you were able to see the live action inside, all for free.
A computer inside the ARTVscope and cameras inside the venue allowed you to see around the stage and even zoom in and out and change the camera angle giving the viewer the best seat in the house.
