About the Work

Interesting design can transform a business, but can it help a small town? That’s what Picsart set out to uncover by traveling to the town of Boring, Oregon in the campaign: Unboring Boring.

Picsart is an easy-to-use design platform with over 120 million monthly active creators who use it for anything from self-expression to side-hustles to small businesses. And with Unboring Boring, Picsart partnered with three small Boring businesses, each with a different business challenge that Picsart could solve with unboring design.

Boring Bean is a coffee roaster and cafe whose packaging wasn’t strong. The Nutz-n-Boltz Theater Company had signage and a logo that wasn’t quite spotlight-ready. And The North American Bigfoot Center was posting social content that didn’t leave much of an online footprint.
We followed each of these businesses as they used design to transform their business from Boring to Unboring.
