Future Power Station in London poke at the boundaries of NSFW in this extraordinary sci-fi/fantasy pre-title sequence for episode 7 of the third season of Sex Education on Netflix.
We’re all massive fans of the show so it was super exciting when the season 3 director Runyararo Mapfumo reached out about creating an X-rated opener set in Lily’s sci-fi universe.
Given the content, it was really important to everyone that we make something as powerfully beautiful as it is sexy. We’ve given this piece so much love and hope the craft and care shine through from every grain.
It was amazing to work with Runyararo, she’s such a fantastic collaborator, and with a constant exchange of ideas we could really get stuck into the finer details of the look, flow, and meaning of each scene, from character design to building an alien world.
