About the Work
India keeps teachers on the same pedestal as God, and that makes Teachers' Day an important day for the country. Being an EdTech brand, BYJU'S is all about teachers. In fact, the company is named after one. For us, Teachers' Day presented a great opportunity to create brand love as well as deepen our relationship with teachers.
Online classes was the buzz word for the post-pandemic world. Everyone was aware of the plight of the children and their parents. But no one had spoken about the changes Teachers had to go through. Nobody thought of their suffering. We decided to highlight the pain, suffering and learning of Teachers as schools went online. The campaign intended to show the contribution of Teachers in our life with special focus on the post-pandemic era.
The campaign was executed on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Since people are grateful to their teachers anyway, the campaign brought their sacrifices to the light. People took note and their perspective on online classes changed completely. For the first, time, people acknowledged and valued the efforts teachers put in.
