About the Work
In the year of the federal election in Germany we sharpened the senses of how deep the gaps between women and men still are, where they arise and what we can do about them: By making gender gaps audible and dramatizing them with an unheard mechanic. A woman and a man tell us about their lives - simultaneously. They start in unison. But deviations appear soon and get bigger until the biographies drift apart completely – both in content and sound. A reduced staging ensures that the spots stand out in social media and makes old-familiar hard facts newly tangible.
