About the Work
Porsche is known for its legendary race cars. And in 2021, a new member was about to join that elite circle: The Porsche Mission R. With the mantra “If you’re not leading, you’re following”, Porsche decided to make the first step with this fully electric race car of the future. The car was being launched on the IAA auto show in Munich – introduced with a film crossing the borders between virtual and reality.
The conceptual thought: “Fast forward future”. Nobody knows what the future of racing will hold. This is represented in the film with an environment that changes and glitches continuously, while the Mission R is the only object that always remains solid. So whatever comes – Porsche is ready for it.
