About the Work
The film draws a parallel with the writer’s personal experience as an immigrant in the United States. Often called an “alien” as part of the asylum process, Özgür Seyben saw this film as an opportunity to explore the otherness he experienced coming to America. The film was brought to life thanks to DoorDash’s Beyond the Dash program, which was designed to accelerate the dreams and passions of Dashers, the delivery workers on the DoorDash platform.
