“A (Slightly) Life-Changing Story” is a tongue-in-cheek celebration of that moment when you find something that’s just perfect for you. We partnered with iconic musician, Peaches, to recompose Raf Rundell’s “Sweet Cheeks” - taking its looping gospel disco piano breaks and adding choir-like vocal harmonies to elevate these simple discoveries to slightly life-changing revelations. Each verse introduces us to an everyday person lamenting something missing in their life, while each set transforms to show how their life has improved by finding it - a buyer of an eco-friendly sponge is adored by a throng of head-nodding penguins; patrons of a restaurant nail salon sit cradled in giant manicured hands as angelic squids ascend around them. Combine this with Andrea Chirinos’ original choreography (inspired by dance on Meta’s platforms) and you’ve got a bombastic musical spectacle - an over-the-top celebration of the moment when you discover something that makes your life (slightly) better.
