About the Work
Boysen, the Philippines’ leading innovative paint brand created Bug-Off, an anti-insect paint that contains microscopic crystals that kill disease-causing flies, cockroaches and mosquitoes that rest on walls painted with it.
To raise awareness for Bug-Off, a poster series was created featuring stunning insect-eating plants, Venus flytrap, Pitcher Plant, Bromeliad and Bladderworts, all made of Boysen paint. The images were created using multi-colored splashes of Bug-Off paint captured using high-powered, high-speed cameras in precise moments and trajectories.
The Bug-Off series is the latest iteration of previous Boysen campaigns, “Flowers” and “Creatures.”
