Luke Thornton, President of Believe Media, is an acknowledged expert at recognizing and developing new talent. Over the course of his career, he's helped shape the careers of numerous TV commercial and music video directors. He started in the film industry working on several independent music-related documentaries after graduating from college in England with a degree in business studies. He was soon able to marry his education with his avocation, as he co-founded Keller/Thornton, which would grow into one of the UK's leading music video production houses during the mid-eighties. The company also produced the independent feature, “The American Way,” starring Dennis Hopper.

Upon arriving in the US in 1987, Luke joined one of the ad industry's top production companies, where he met his wife and partner Liz Silver. They worked together at top firm N. Lee Lacy Associates before founding The End, a successful hybrid music video and TV commercial production company, in 1991. In 2000 they opened Believe Media, where Liz oversees international and domestic production of hundreds of TV spots and music videos each year while Luke is responsible for strategic direction, marketing and talent management.

A forward-thinking visionary, Luke positioned Believe to play a key role in the ongoing evolution of advertising production from a short-form to long-form discipline, overseeing the development of the seminal BMW Films series of internet delivered, brand-focused films. Believe continues to be one of the top production companies in the industry, winning every major award for its work and operating in the US, Europe and around the world.
