Tohru Oyasu

Leo Burnett

Chicago

Tohru began his career at McConnaughy Stein Schmidt Brown in Chicago, where he worked on a little of everything including Circuit City, Walgreens and Crate & Barrel. After a short stint at Lowe Lintas & Partners, he landed at Y&R Chicago, where he spent the majority of his time on NASCAR, Craftsman, Miller Lite and Miller Genuine Draft. He is currently eating apples at Leo Burnett, again working on a little of everything. His work has been recognized by The One Show, Radio Mercury Awards, Cannes International Advertising Awards, Communication Arts, London International Awards, Young Guns and The Clios. But what Tohru is most proud of is his collection of the finest butchered spellings of his name. The top three: Tohur Oyaz, Toltrin Oyasm and Pohiu Oyafu.
