As Vice President of Design|User Experience, Shawn leads the NBC Entertainment Design, Digital Creative & User Experience Teams to deliver engaging multiplatform and social content experiences for some of the biggest shows on television today. Along with his team, Shawn is responsible for envisioning present and future strategies for the network’s consumer facing programs including - The Voice, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Blindspot and The Blacklist.
As an industry leader, he has worked to build synergy between visual and user experience design to tell engaging stories that create positive and memorable impressions - building lasting relationships between our consumers and brands.
Over the past 2 decades, Shawn has remained at the forefront of creative innovation – building and leading teams both domestically and internationally. As an entrepreneur and founder of several successful independent west coast agencies, Shawn has had the pleasure to with a broad range of clients including, Nike, Unilever, Sony, Budweiser, NBC, Microsoft, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and Walt Disney Imagineering Group.
Always pushing brands to blur the lines between impossible and possible - Shawn is considered a founding father of digital marketing following the conception and launch of Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story. He has earned numerous awards for his work including Cannes Lions, Emmys®, Clios and Webby Awards.
