2017 One Show Social Jury

Monica Moro

Monica is one of the few women in charge of the creative department of an agency. She figures in the list of the Top Talent in the Big Won Creative Ranking, was nominated for Top Talent under41 and has been voted “ideal creative” among over 200 Spanish advertisers.

Outstanding among her achievements is her work for Coca-Cola (CC, ZERO, Fanta), Calvo, Lotteries, Campofrío and, more recently, Ikea.

She has won well over a hundred awards at the leading national and international advertising festivals such as Cannes, One Show, London IA, NY Festivals, and some of her most striking work has been included in the permanent collection at the Reina Sofía National Museum of Contemporary Art.

Under her leadership, McCann succeeded in becoming the only Spanish agency to appear in the top 20 positions in the Gunn Report. In the latest edition, her campaigns are among the most highly acclaimed. McCann has been appointed Agency of the Year on several occasions and always figures among the agencies with the most awards in the country. Maybe that is why it has also been voted Best Place to Work 2016, in the agency category.

Monica has been a judge at most festivals, including Cannes, Clio, London IA, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, El Sol or CdeC. She is part of the Creative Leadership Collective (CLC), McCann’s worldwide creative board.

Monica has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Information Science Faculty of the Complutense University, Madrid.
