Tom Paine is Creative Director at Y&R New Zealand. His work has won Gold at The One Show, 30+ Cannes Lions including two Grand Prix and a Titanium Lion, multiple Yellow Pencils at D&AD, and Best in Show at New York Festivals, The ANDYs, and AWARD. His most curious accolade however was being ranked alongside Anthony Bourdain and Gordon Ramsay in Adweek’s ‘30 most influential people in food’ for attempting to broker a détente in the Burger Wars. Of lesser culinary bragging rights, his McWhopper campaign was also the most awarded at D&AD in 2016 and helped Tom achieve #3 Creative Director in the Cannes 2016 rankings.

Tom is truly honoured to join The One Show ‘Cross Platform’ jury. The show has a world class reputation based on an impartial, diligent judging process adhered to by jurors handpicked for their integrity; something Tom vows to stringently uphold throughout judging week in Bermuda. He also vows to rush through the entries so he can go game fishing. Who wants a gold?
