Amee is an award-winning Creative Director and an Art Director living in NYC. In 2010, she finished a six year stint at BBH, NY, where she was the global Creative Director on Sprite and a member of the BBH, NY Board. During her time at BBH, she was responsible for creating some of the agency’s most iconic work, including award-winning work for Axe, Levi’s and Johnnie Walker. She was responsible for the Smirnoff Tea Partay viral campaign, which has over five million views to date and is on Forbes’ list of the top 25 viral campaigns of this past decade. Amee has always tried to work for great people, not just top agencies, and owes her craftsmanship and success to a few creative directors she considers her most important teachers. One being John Hegarty, who famously told her, “When you do interesting things, interesting things happen.” Taking that sage advice to heart, Amee took a six month sabbatical from her Creative Director job to become a 38-year old intern, where she studied alongside the best digital minds at Big Spaceship and Google Labs. Prior to BBH, Amee was an Art Director at Crispin Porter and Bogusky, part of the team that helped win the MINI account. She has also worked at Mckinney and Silver, Kirshenbaum and Bond and Ammirati Puris & Lintas. Amee’s work has been recognized and awarded by the One Show, The Clio’s, The Cannes Advertising festival, New York Art Director’s Club, The Kelly’s, The Effie’s, and Communication Arts. She held a jury position at the One Show in 1997 and her work is part of the permanent exhibition at the MOMA .
