Dan Cohen is a seasoned PR & Social Media professional with expertise leading award-winning PR programming both in the corporate and client-services environments, and a PR Week “40 Under 40” 2017 recipient.

In his current role as Senior Director of Public Relations & Social Media at Beam Suntory, Dan manages PR and Social Media for the extensive brand portfolio of the world’s 3rd largest premium spirits company. His aggressive buzz-building efforts have helped to drive positive business results for the company’s highest priority products including Jim Beam (the world’s #1 bourbon brand), Sauza Tequila and Suntory Japanese whiskies. Dan also spearheaded the launch of Jim Beam’s first-ever global marketing campaign, “Make History” featuring actress Mila Kunis, with integrated PR efforts across nearly 200 countries – the most successful PR campaign in the brand’s history.

Prior to his current role, Dan supported consumer lifestyle brand building at Edelman Public Relations, the world’s largest independent PR firm, where he oversaw programs in support of best-selling men’s personal care client AXE and supported clients within the company’s Financial Communications and Investor Relations practice.

Dan graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Masters of Arts in Journalism and Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He spends most of his free time with his wife Michelle and two sons Ben and Jack.
