Mara Vidal is a Group Creative Director at Mccann Madrid working on both national and international accounts such as IKEA, Campofrio, Movistar and Buitoni. She joined Mccann a year ago from BBH Singapore where she creatively led IKEA and Netflix for the region. Previous to that she worked at BBH London where she was instrumental in shaping Tesco's award-winning big rebrand.

Originally from Spain, she forged her career in London working for agencies such as Fallon, Mother or DigitasLBi, as well as client side at Google/Youtube studio. During her 15 years in the industry, she's managed to collate numerous accolades for her work and has appeared in hundreds of media publications.

Coming from a make-up and fashion background, Mara entered the advertising world by mistake or 'a fortunate stroke of serendipity' that enabled her to live from her ideas, travel the world and meet some of the most inspirational people.

In her spare time she likes to write show pilots and get lost in the beach coves or 'Calas' of Costa del Sol with her friends and two kids.
