Jorge was born and raised in Mexico City. In 2001 he was a founder of "Leche The Mexperimental Project" where he became the Creative Director and Partner striving to open boundaries in the Interactive and Digital world. In 2003 Leche's recognition open the doors for him to start working in more ambitious projects relocating him in California, his hunger for the arts and mix skills gave him a great chance to work with commercial and experimental artwork. Digital Animation became his new obsession and later on he was involved in the creation of content for brands like Universal, Apple, Nickelodeon, and Coca-Cola.

In 2005, Jorge spent a year gaining critical acclaim at Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, where he art directed the Got Milk? campaign and went on to develop . He also had an important involvement in campaings like HP, Rolling Rock and Comcast.

Jorge has won an impressive number of awards, amongst which he has received multiple Gold Lions and the prestigious Black Pencil from the D&AD.

Calleja joined Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam in June 2007 and is currently working as a Creative Director for the Global Coca-Cola and Honda accounts. Recently launching the new campaign "Open Happiness" for the Pop Soda Giant.
