I was born in Gauteng in the City of Gold Johannesburg, raised in the small town of Qonce in the Eastern Cape, and spent much of my younger adult life in Cape Town, Western Cape. These 3 provinces in South Africa are where my curiosity for people started, nurtured, and put into practice. Little did I know that people watching and hearing (often eavesdropping) their stories would be the well that I would draw a lot of insights from, leading me to graduate from the AAA School of Advertising. That would be the beginning of my love-hate relationship with this career I would never change for the world. It's allowed me to put on many hats, I've been a mine worker, flew halfway across the world for creativity, soldout cars when I couldn't drive, moved hectolitres of beer when I'm really a wine lover, and seen my doodles develop into actual tangible things. My proudest being creating campaigns that make people feel and hearing them talk about these campaigns even years later.

Collecting metal in bronze, gold, silver, and some pencils have also brought a few smiles to my face.
