Derek Fridman is a design partner at Work & Co. Specializing in rapid prototyping and design for retail environments, emerging platforms, and connected experiences, Derek is known for leading design and user experience teams in strategizing new experiences from scratch. At Work & Co he’s helped create new fan products for the NBA, PGA Tour and Traeger Grills. Since its founding nine years ago, Work & Co -a global design and technology company- has been on the Ad Age A-List, been named Digiday's Agency of the Year, been on FastCo’s Most Innovative Companies list twice, and dubbed one of the “most consequential agencies of the decade” by Forbes. Prior to Work & Co Derek was Chief Design Officer at Huge, and brings more than two decades of experience, including roles at SapientNitro, Razorfish, and his own design studio. In that time he applied his design expertise to Warner Brothers, Google, Under Armour, McDonalds, AMC Theatres, Disney, Adidas, Lucasfilm, and The NBA. Born in Puerto Rico, he's worked on both coasts and in Europe, and holds a degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Atlanta.
