I’ve spent the past 20 years working at independent branding and design studios – and I’ve been fortunate enough to pick up several miscellaneous pieces of metal, wood and perspex along the way. From time to time, I also get to argue with other people about who should be awarded said pieces of metal, wood and perspex. I didn’t make Forbes’ 40 under 40, Business Insider’s 30 under 30, or Tech Crunch’s 20 under 20. But I did get a ten metre swimming certificate at primary school, a badge for tying knots as a Scout, and I once won some tinned meat in a raffle at a rural fête. I get out of bed every morning to make work that makes us feel something; work that moves people, moves culture and moves business.
