Permance Impermanence is a serie of 4 digital paintings printed on paper. Identity and the influence of social media over the ways we present and manipulate our image was the main theme for these works. Through the use of digital paintings tools, the aim was to reflect on the large presence of technology in our daily life, as a vehicle for interaction. Sculptural shapes as a manifestation of the body being reshaped, the curtain of reality being pierced through, a mask almost abstracted from its human features, all these elements acts as playful symbols seemingly moving through the canvas, of an avatar we create for ourselves while navigating through digital worlds.
