This illustration accompanied a Letter of Recommendation article in an issue of The New York Times Magazine. It was meant to capture the spirits of fictional characters Jack Reacher and Jeeves in their respective elements. Both characters are beloved fictional characters who solve problems uniquely. In an effort to show as much of these characters by showing as little as possible, I stuck to using the book spines as a metaphor for the depth of adventures these characters go through.
