For Reese Cooper's first presentation in Paris, we created a makeshift California forest inside of Palais de Tokyo, allowing the presentation itself to be a “behind the scenes” look at the creation of the lookbook in real-time. The set consisted of 3 forest backdrops connected by a trail made by dirt, logs, moss and trail markers. As models walked in front of the backdrops, they were photographed within the frame to appear as they are still in California. As Reese was yet to appear on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, the takeaway of the show was to create the ambiguity around the presentation. Allowing the audience to question if it was a show, a lookbook shoot, or even if it was in Paris or California.
