Swan Gone is an experimental song that inspired an experimental use of video making. The combination of distorted images, child-like drawings, and experimental animation techniques worked in conjunction to create an experimental piece reminiscent of the musicality.

Role in Project
My role in this project was animator. I've made all of the animation inserts in this live-action music video, under the creative direction of Pablo Delcan and Aimee Hunt. Furthermore, I've made the titles by animating the type in after effects and printing each frame, I then scanned them back in the computer and sequenced them. I've used some experimental and traditional animation techniques for this music video such as scratching film using a blade, I then scanned and sequenced them. Finally, I've made some frame-by-frame drawn animations that were then placed top of the live footage. The drawings were meant to be reminiscent of a children's drawing, to cooperatively accompany the strangeness and child-like quality of the song.
