Justin is a Hong Kong born multidisciplinary designer, animator, and art director. He is currently an Associate Creative Director at Gretel NY. Justin first started working with images drawing manga in his bedroom, before attending Washington University in St. Louis’s Communication Design program, and working at Droga5, Ogilvy, and SpecialGuest.

Justin has partnered with brands across a range of industries, including cultural institutions (MoMA, Crystal Bridges), apparel (Mountain Hardwear, Ghost Outdoors), tech (Apple, IBM, Paypal, Masterclass, Mode), journalism (The Athletic, The New Yorker), broadcast (Showtime), and non-profit organizations (Amnesty International, NYC Pride, Neighborhood Now). Regardless of scale or category, his practice pairs cultural research with experimentation and emotional world building to create memorable visual identities or interactive / tangible experiences. His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, the One Show, the ADC, D&AD, and The Webby Awards.

Alongside chefs Eric Sze and Lucas Sin, Justin is one third of SHY*BOYZCLUB, a joint pop up where they make introverted Asian cuisine and goods.
