Creative director Jake Smallman has over 16 years of brand, design and art direction experience and co-founded Self-titled in 2014. Self-titled is a creative agency based in Melbourne, Australia with skills extending across brand, design and communications to spatial and digital design.

Prior to starting Self-titled, Jake worked both in the UK and in Australia, having previously held roles as Creative Director of Interbrand, Design Director at Paper Stone Scissors and Senior Designer at Cornwell. His client list includes Peter Lehmann Wines, Realestate.com.au, Pronto Software, Origin, Medibank, Australia Post, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Kookai, Woolmark and QMS.

Jake’s work has won numerous awards including as an ADC Young Gun (YG7). Jake’s approach to design is always ideas driven and involves reducing a concept down to its essence.
