Ali Silao is the Head of Art at the six-time Independent Agency of the Year, Seven AD. Before this, he was with TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno and BBDO Guerrero. He was the first Filipino to win a Young Spikes Gold and helped bring home the Philippines' first Webby award. Over the years, his work has been recognized in Cannes, D&AD, One Show, LIAs, Spikes, Clio Awards, NY Festivals, Adfest, AMEs, Digital Asia Awards, Boomerangs, Ad Stars, Adobo Design Awards and Kidlat Awards. Ali has been ranked by Adobo Magazine as one of the country’s top creatives. His client roster includes Frito-Lay, Johnnie Walker, Pepsico, Nissan, Isuzu, Ford, Del Monte, Adidas, Jollibee, KFC, SPAM, Energizer, Old Spice, Facebook and Google. He has served as jury in National Digital Arts Awards, Kidlat Awards and Papaya Young Creators Competition. He is regularly invited to inspire young creative upstarts in different universities in the Philippines. At the height of the COVID pandemic, he helped launch the Google Jam for Good Creative Competition, a platform where young Filipino advertising practitioners can use their creativity for greater good.
