Born in a small city in South Korea, Dani Choi is an illustrator who now divides her time between Brooklyn and Seoul. Since 2020, Dani has had the privilege to work with many clients including Apple, Bloomberg, Farfetch, The New York Times, Hypebeast Korea, Youtube Music and more. Her works have also been recognized by several awards such as Young Guns, World Illustration Awards, American Illustration, Society of Illustrators and more. Dani tries to keep balance between commission and personal work where her love for hidden narratives shows more overtly. Her tendency to include many layers with hidden meanings and symbols was born from her love for allegories and ambiguity. She believes that the magic of illustration lies in depicting images that cannot be recreated in the physical world.
