Nicolas Ménard
Nicolas’ interest in visual systems is the starting point of his creative investigations. His clear graphic language has transferred to animated short films, artists’ books, illustrations, commercials and posters.
A graduate of UQAM's School of Design and the Royal College of Art, his films have gathered honours from festivals around the world. His latest short Wednesday with Goddard won the Jury Award for Best Animated Short at SXSW 2017 and earned him a spot in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors' Showcase.
Nicolas enjoys teaching and has been a guest lecturer in schools across Europe and Canada, including Kingston University, Goldsmiths University, Hyper Island and Atelier de Sèvres. He's also been on award juries for Anima Brussels and Motionographer.
Nicolas is based in London, UK.
