Young Guns is a portfolio competition awarding creative professionals 30 years and under, including designers, illustrators, entrepreneurs, and more!

A diverse group of 32 talented creatives in 14 countries and regions have been named winners in the prestigious Young Guns 19 competition, celebrating creative professionals age 30 or younger.

A program of The One Club for Creativity, the world's foremost non-profit organization recognizing creative excellence in advertising and design, Young Guns is the industry’s only global, cross-disciplinary, portfolio-based awards competition that identifies and celebrates today’s vanguard of young creatives.

This year’s entries were received from 38 countries, and judged by a diverse jury of 88 top creatives, nearly half of whom are past YG winners.

Winners were celebrated at Sony Hall in New York City on Wednesday, November 17th.

Kosuke Takahashi

Inventor, Communication Designer

Kosuke Takahashi is an inventor and a communication designer.
Born in Tokyo in 1993 and raised in Akihabara. Graduated from Keio University and majored in graphic design and product design. His mission is to design mechanisms for people who have never met before to mix naturally and interact positively with each other. Therefore, most of his projects begin with the discovery of universality beyond disability, nationality, age, and gender. Examples of his projects: "Braille Neue", a font that combines Braille and existing characters, "LINKAGE", a universal communication game that uses haptics, and "AR Yuru Sports", an online sport to compete beyond disabilities and national borders.
He was selected as one of the 10 World's best design graduates by Antenna Foundation and one of the 20 innovators in Japan by WIRED Audi INNOVATION AWARD. Other major awards include DIA Award and Tokyo Midtown Award.
