Commissioned by Facebook, "Good Medicine," is a short documentary film that takes place on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. Shoshone and Arapaho people live on the reservation. We explore how the generations of natives find healing and peace (good medicine) through traditions and skateboarding. This film focuses on the next generation and their constant balance of the two worlds they live in. Modern youth and skateboard culture balanced with an understanding and respect of culture and tradition.

My Role was:

Director. I pitched this original story to Facebook when the opportunity arose to create an original documentary for Facebook Watch. Having grown up in Wyoming, the story of these kids and skateboarding on the reservation is something I have wanted to tell for a while. I had full creative control for the whole process.
