This animated illustration accompanied an article about the history of seltzer in America. Coming from a motion design background, I've always felt there was a hidden niche for these types of animated images in the illustration industry. While these animated images do take a significant amount of time to cel animate, this project is special to me in the sense that it helped further develop my workflow to animate more efficiently in future projects.

I worked with Art Director Dora Godfrey at Medium to illustrate and animate this image for the article on their Elemental section. My role in this project required ideation, sketches, and a final look development before carrying out animation for delivery.
