This is was the second show that PLAYLAB, INC. has collaborated with Louis Vuitton Men's Creative Director Virgil Abloh on the sets for his shows. The show was inspired by Virgil's homage to the Louis Vuitton Asnières Atelier while keeping up with his ongoing theme of Boyhood. Drawings inspiration from movies like the Truman Show and my childhood favorite show Art Attack, we created a set that completely immersed the audience into the theme. The set had three main elements, the clouds exterior and interior that allowed the audience and models to be completely enveloped in the show, including when the models "walk on air" as they come down the steps. The oversized tools from the LV workshop, bringing in the child-like feeling to the show. And finally the central tree representing tree of life and the main tree at the Asnières campus.
