~ Collecting funds for Alzheimer’s research by selling fading memories as Non-fungible Tokens ~
CHALLENGE:
To this day there is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Research is the only path to a cure, and research needs funding. However, funding is not easy to find. Can we raise funds in new ways while making use of modern technology and digital trends?
SOLUTION:
The Alzheimer’s Association collects the dearest memories of several Alzheimer’s patients. The written notes of the memories are put through an AI that creates a unique art piece - a Non-fungible Memory. Then, the non-fungible memory is put on the NFT-marketplace OpenSea. A win-win situation where the buyer gets the first-ever AI-NFT seen on the market, the Alzheimer’s Association gets funding and the disease gets the recognition and awareness it deserves.
